To provide training to the retail districts on core company programs, to support the achievement of sales targets, and the development of the store associates, as well as elevate the customer experience and enhance brand sophistication.
Training Rollout & Administration
∑ Coordinate training administration and logistics
∑ Onboard and train all manager as outlined in the HR training modules
∑ Deliver training according to agreed upon roll-out calendar/agenda
∑ Assist with role out and training on corporate initiatives (i.e. Xstore)
∑ Lead Product Knowledge sessions
∑ Support and/or deliver in-store training on business and/or service needs
∑ Ensure that store management understands the objectives, scope, selection criteria, pre and post work involved and logistics around all training
∑ Partner with HR and other Training Manager to assist in revising existing training modules as necessary and developing the next level of training modules for managers
∑ Develop a next level training course for the manager and stylist level
∑ Identify potential training gaps at store level in collaboration with DMs and HR Director
∑ Create a comprehensive onboarding/training agenda for new managers
∑ Assist stores to create, implement, and mange a training plan
∑ Gather/collect feedback on training and opportunities to share with the DMís and HR
Skills and Requirements
5 + years of experience in retail management & training
Proven track record in building relationships at all levels within an organization
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level/size
Must be able to create training and communication decks utilizing Microsoft Office and LMS platform
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills (PowerPoint, MS Office etc.)
Ability to deal with different levels of the organization comfortably
Strong organizational skills
Able to learn product, training and related knowledge/skills quickly
Motivated, self-starter with a passion for the brand
A proven ability to identify areas of strong performance and areas of opportunity within a store
Ability to travel to and be in stores within the district up to 50 percent of the time
Ability to travel to throughout US & Canada to support training initiatives outside the New York district
